The City of Westfield will pay tribute to brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation at its annual Memorial Day Ceremony near the Fallen Hoosier Heroes Memorial.
Free parking is available at Christ United Methodist Church (318 N. Union Street) and Westfield High School with a complimentary shuttle provided to transport guests to-and-from the ceremony location.
The ceremony will feature remarks from local veterans, including Mayor Scott Willis and Lt. Col. Billy Ray Moore, who will serve as the keynote speaker. The newly formed Westfield Community Choir will also perform a special selection of songs to honor the fallen heroes.
As part of the ceremony, all attendees will be invited to place a carnation at the base of the Fallen Heroes Memorial to honor the fallen.
