Join us for a special summer plein air opportunity with visiting artist Russell Kahn. This week of drawing and painting with oil pastels will begin with a quick overview of perspective drawing and composing on a two dimensional plane. We will then head out into downtown Belfast and create some plein air oil pastel paintings. If we have inclement weather, we will go outside to take some pictures and then work from the photographs, but the ideal scenario is painting outside. Russell will include daily critiques, as well as an introduction to some art history and influences.
