This event commemorates the 12th anniversary of the Colorado Freedom Memorial and the 80th Anniversary of the end of World War II.
Featuring a free-will donation pancake breakfast, displays of military artifacts and themed entertainment. On display will be various military vehicles, The Honor Bell and a piece of steel beam from the USS Arizona.
This is a Free event, donations are gladly accepted.
Event Schedule
8 – 10 am:
Enjoy our “famous” Free pancake breakfast while listening to live music from the All-american Big Band. You can also visit the large Military Vehicle display and see artifact collections from History Colorado and much more!
10 – 11:30 am:
Our 12th annual Colorado Remembers Ceremony will feature an F-16 flyover; wreath laying; Color Guard and playing of Taps and amazing Grace special recognition of WWI veterans in attendance and acknowledgment of all veterans and Gold Star family members attending. We’ll also present stories of four veterans who are listed on the Colorado Freedom Memorial.
11:30 am – 1 pm:
Following the official ceremony, attendees are invited to tour the memorial; view the USS Arizona steel up close; purchase Colorado Freedom Memorial merchandise and place a rose at one of the three monuments in Memorial Park.
