The Town of Frisco is proud to once again bring together great music for great causes at the free outdoor Concert in the Park Series. Held each Thursday from 5:30pm - 7:30pm, this concert series at the Frisco Historic Park gazebo & lawn at 120 Main Street will run from June 19 – August 28. Well behaved, leashed canines are welcome, and outside alcohol is a no no, as refreshment sales benefit a different local non-profit each week.
Musical Act: Plain Faraday
Plain Faraday is an independent music project from Denver, Colorado. Their unique sound pulls from a variety of genres, including influences from folk, indie-rock, Americana, jazz, and neo-soul. The group’s quest for meaningful lyrics and dynamic compositions are guided by a respect for wood and steel and times past and present. Over the years, Plain Faraday has shared stages with prominent artists like Richy Mitch & The Coal Miners, Proxima Parada, Moon Taxi, Trash Panda, Happy Landing, Emily Brimlow, Susto, Dustbowl Revival, and others. They’re known for their energetic stage performance and engaging sound
What to Expect:
- Concerts in the Park are pet-friendly with the expectation that pets are leashed and well-mannered.
- No outside alcohol is allowed, but beverage sales are available and benefit a different local non-profit at each concert. Feel free to bring a dinner picnic though, as most concerts only feature beverages and light snacks for sale. There are also many great restaurants within walking distance of the concert.
