Time to break out the turkey costumes and strap on your running shoes!

The Danville Public Schools Education Foundation, in partnership with the Danville Otterbots and the Danville Running & Fitness Club, is having its third Turkey Trot 5K Run/Walk and Children's Fun Run on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, Nov. 28th! The event will start and end at American Legion Field, the home of the Danville Otterbots.

All proceeds go toward programs, initiatives, and scholarships for DPS students and teachers.

Schedule:
Children's Fun Run - 8:30am
5K Run/Walk - 9:00am

Course: The entire race will be along the beautiful Dan River on the Riverwalk Trail.

Entry Fee:
Children's Fun Run (12 and under) - $0 (as long as an adult is registered for the 5K Run/Walk).
5K Run/Walk - $30 to pre-register, $35 on race day. All area students 17 and under ($15, $20 on race day)

Race Day Registration:
Registration will begin at 7:00am on Thursday. Cash and check ONLY for race day registration.  Checks should be made payable to Danville Public Schools Education Foundation.
