Community Choice Aggregation, is one of the many proposals for reducing energy costs in Connecticut. What is it and why was HB6928 tabled this year.
Peter Millman, Vice President of People's Action for Clean Energy (PACE) will take us through the history of community choice aggregation and its potential benefits. Several states have implemented such programs (CA, IL, MD, MA, NH, NJ, NY, OH, RI, and VA). n addition, he will answer questions on community solar and other clean energy proposals. PACE, formed in 1973 by a group of concerned citizens, is working to help transition CT to clean energy through grassroots education and advocacy.
