Each year, we try to make sure that we add a NEW sculpture to the grounds of the Mesquite Arts Center. This sculpture is part of a program called “Art Around Town” and works with local artists to loan pieces for a duration of time.

This year, we will be obtaining 3 NEW works by Scott Shubin. He has create works that sit on the Dallas Cowboys complex, State Fair of Texas, and much more spaces. He will also be exhibiting “mockets” (small mock-ups of sculptures) and wall sculptures inside our Chamber Gallery.
