A free training about disability rights in housing, presented by the Community Teamwork Fair Housing Program.
This one hour training will introduce disability rights in housing and how to ask for a change to a policy or the physical space to accommodate an impairment. Participants will learn about the accommodation process, best practices for requesting accommodations, common problems, and how to get help.
About the presenter:
Aaron Ginsberg joined Community Teamwork two and a half years ago to start the Fair Housing Program. After establishing core fair housing advocacy and education services the program expanded to include tenant rights issue, housing equity to through land use reform, and affirmatively furthering fair housing work at the municipal level. Prior to joining CTI, Aaron spent over a decade with the Disability Rights Center – NH engaging in impact litigation and legislative/regulatory advocacy.
