Enjoy a rare opportunity to step back in time with a visit to the Stauffer-Will Farm. This hands-on, living history event is fun for (almost) all ages.
- Please understand that due to the nature of this event, we are unable to accommodate children under 8 years old.
- Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
- Please note that the site involves stairs and unpaved pathways in history ca. 1870s buildings. Please call the museum at 503-678-5754 or email [email protected] with questions before purchasing tickets if you have mobility and accommodation questions.
Learn about life on an 1870s farm and create projects to take home as souvenirs!
Guests Will:
- Craft their own log candle holder
- Hand-dip a candle
- Try your hand at using period tools
- Bake bread
- Learn about quilting and make a 9-patch quilt block
The guided portion of the event will run from 10:00am - 1:15pm. Guests are welcome to have a snack picnic (bring your own) on the Stauffer-Will lawn between the 3rd and 4th activity rotation, and are welcome to picnic on the lawn after the program. Site closes at 2pm. You may also be interested in enjoying the best that Aurora has to offer with a visit to one of the local lunch spots in the historic downtown.

Tickets must be purchased in advance. This ticketed event is limited seating. Tickets are non-refundable. Should the event be cancelled tickets will be refunded.
