Once again, the 2024 Festival continued our new trend of lovely fun-friendly weather. But hey, we’ll be happy with colder and bolder too. It is, after all, a winter celebration! And yes, it’s that time we start giving the festival some loving attention again. Set the day aside in your planner. The Fire and Ice committee is meeting and plans are in progress.

Check back here day by day as we add more and more details to the event-offerings this year. Yes, there will be a Chili Cook-off. Of course. If you’re a chef with access to a commercial kitchen, and perhaps you have an amazing tongue-singing chili recipe, please sign up to compete. And of course, our crew of expert ice carvers will be back as well. As is the decades-old tradition, we’re looking again for ice block sponsors. Put your message into carved ice for the thousands of people who attend our event.
