Meet at the Cedar Creek North Loop trail head parking lot at 2 p.m. First Day Hike sticker

Join a park ranger or volunteer on a short guided hike down Cedar Creek South Loop. You’ll pass through woods where vultures perch and pocket prairies that are full of life. Enjoy views of the lakeside just off the main trail and see native wildlife along the way! The guided portion of this hike is on easy terrain and open to all ages. Afterwards, receive a limited supply, Official First Day Hike sticker.

Cost: Park programs are open to the public and free with a paid park entrance fee of $5 per person ages 13 and up; children 12 and under are always free! Park entry is free with the Texas State Park Pass. No need to register-just show up!
