Start the New Year on the right foot with a hike at Minneopa State Park! Enjoy the tranquility of nature as you welcome a fresh beginning, reflecting on the year past and embracing the possibilities ahead. Its a wonderful way to connect with loved ones, set intentions, and enjoy the great outdoors.

This hike covers approximately 2 miles on mostly flat terrain. Be sure to dress warmly and wear sturdy, comfortable boots.

In snowy conditions, snowshoes can be borrowed from the park on a first-come, first-served basis, or you can bring your own.

To join, please meet at the Group Camp Parking Lot at 1 p.m.

The program is free to attend but requires a valid Minnesota State Parks Vehicle Permit.
