Kick off the start of the new year by exploring the natural beauty of Mother Neff State Park.
Come enjoy miles of fun and join us on the trails at Mother Neff. Explore the park at your own pace and learn about the history of the park along the way.
Weather permitting the Leon River Dutch Oven Gang will be serving black-eyed peas beginning at 11am until they run out. We will also have interpretive stations throughout the park sharing about the park's history and natural resources from
Once you have completed your hike, come back by the visitors’ center and share your experience. We will even have a small memento for your participation.
This has been a very popular event for Mother Neff in the past so be sure to reserve your day passes as early as a month in advance. Reservations can be made online or by calling (512) 389-8900.
