We'll hike the two miles around the perimeter of Peebles Island, but shorter hikes might be available based on interest. Some hikes will discuss the Native American presence on the Island, its significance during the Revolutionary War, and other history of this strategic site. Hikes for people who prefer just to walk our beautiful trails will also be available. Dress for the weather and bring cameras and binoculars for a chance to see wildlife. Well-behaved dogs on leash are welcome. Registration is not required, but an email to [email protected] with the number of people in your group would be appreciated.
