The Fondren Urban Ultra is a 12 hour timed road race for individual runners. The 3.1 mile loop is run in the beautiful neighborhood of Fondren in Jackson with a mix of hills and flat sections. The race is chip timed for accuracy. Each loop begins and ends at Fondren Church where you can place your nutrition, tent, coolers, etc. Run one lap or as many as you can, test your limits, run your first ultra distance or a few miles....this race is for you! The race is limited to 165 individual runners so sign up now!

Course:

The 5k loop is a USATF certified course (MS17010MS) that will be used to record Mississippi state records in the 50k, 12 hour, and 100k. Only MS residents will be recorded for the records. Currently this is the only state certified Ultra course. As a MS resident, run this race and you may be an ultra state record holder for your age! Awards: 1st place-3rd place male and female will receive custom awards. All participants receive a medal with those going the ultra distance (9 laps) getting something special.
