Join us for our annual Memorial Day program of remembrance and wreath-laying ceremony at Fillmore Turner Hall & Union Cemetery.
A local family will share their legacy of serving their country for five generations. Their service includes the Civil War, WWI, WWII, Korea, Vietnam, Desert Storm, and continues to the present.
The procession to Union Cemetery will begin at approximately 1:30 p.m. The ceremony will include the Kewaskum High School Band, the Honor Guard from VFW Post 1393 of West Bend, the gun salute, Taps, and the traditional fresh-flower wreath procession to the cemetery where attendees are invited to place a flower from the wreath on Veterans' graves.
The Memorial Day program takes place indoors at the historic Fillmore Turner Hall. Handicapped access and parking are available. Brats & burgers will be available at 11:30 AM, provided by St. Martin's Church.
This program of remembrance has been hosted by Farmington Historical Society since 1997 and is open to the public.
