The Annual Saint Catherine Greek Festival has been held every year since 1975 by the Saint Catherine Community as the main fundraiser for the Greek Orthodox Church in West Palm Beach.

The Greek Fest also serves as a way for the Saint Catherine Greek Orthodox community to share their Greek culture and Orthodox faith with the West Palm Beach community.

Entertainment:

The Greek Fest offers live entertainment including a Greek band, free Greek dance lessons, and Greek folk dance performances throughout the weekend.  

Greek Band:

The Karavani Orchestra featuring George Stathos on the clarinet, Nikos Romanos “O Maestros” on vocals and keyboards, and Stefanos Hadjistefanou on vocals and bouzouki will be playing live Greek music outside under the main tent.  

Greek Dance Lessons:

Learn Sirtaki (Zorba’s Dance) and other popular Greek dances with free dance lessons periodically throughout the weekend at the Annual Greek Festival, Opa!

Greek Folk Dance Performances:

Greek folk dance groups including the Heart of Greece Dance Group and the award-winning Hellenic Dance Festival Competition Team – Athanato Fos will be performing all weekend long.  

The groups will perform in traditional Greek costumes from various regions of Greece including Crete, Rohdos, Macedonia, Thrace, Pontos, Epirus, Aegean and Ionian Islands, as well as the modern Tavern dances.

Performances will take place inside the hall on the main stage and outside under the main tent, see performance schedule.
