George Benson has pioneered the style of contemporary and modern jazz guitar winning 10 grammy awards and has been honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

I was energized meeting George Benson and every time that I had the opportunity to sit down with this amazing man his words and wisdom ingrained within me many possibilities to my guitar playing. So I decided to pay tribute to the man George Benson and his musical achievements. I first heard Mr. Benson play when I was 14 years old and been in awe watching him ever since. Let’s celebrate this amazing guitarist with billboard charting guitarist Gregory Goodloe Friday June 13.”

A Denver native, U.S. Army Veteran, Gregory Goodloe continues to move up the ranks of his peers. Claiming the coveted Billboard #1 Smooth Jazz/Contemporary Jazz spot with his hit single Stylin’ which simultaneously landed on 3 Contemporary/Smooth Jazz Charts as number 1. His number 1 hit single has over 4 million streams.

Gregory has performed his brand and style of guitar playing at various smooth jazz venues, such as The Winter Park Jazz Festival, The Breckenridge Jazz Festival, The Cooper Mountain Genuine Jazz Festival, The Keystone Wine and Jazz Festival, The Five Points Jazz Festival, and Jazz In The Garden. Goodloe has had the joy of performing with and opening for many artists, including Grammy award winner Larry Dunn of Earth Wind & Fire, actor and hip hop artist Ivan Ellis of the famed TV show Empire, comedian/actor Joe Torrey, R&B singer & Grammy award winner Howard Hewett of the group Shalamar, the original R&B group Surface, TV Actor and R&B heart throb Tank, Candy from the group Escape and B2K. He has also played with Grammy award winner TV reality star & gospel jazz artist Ben Tankard. Gospel Artist Maranda Curtis. Just to name a few.

As a song writer and music producer of Hip Jazz Records Goodloe is also credited as being music director for billboards hot 100 national recording group Surface, The Coasters & Platters, Claudette King the (Daughter of BBKing) and Smooth Jazz vocalist Aysha.

Currently Goodloe is a host of own his radio show called “Mile High Smooth Jazz” on the http://www.worldwidejazzradio.com 

Representing the Mile High City Gregory Goodloe continues to be a rising star in the Smooth Jazz and Contemporary Jazz world.

His new release entitled “In This Love” 2023 Peaked #22 on the Billboard Smooth Jazz Charts.
