Nicholas Polini (Ridiculous Nicholas) graduated from Penn State University with a degree in biology. He was a fisheries biologist for 4 years, then a molecular biologist for another 4 years before he changed careers and became a full-time comedy variety entertainer.

Now he’s merged his two passions into one entertaining, hilarious, and educational show!

DJ Harlan returns to The Egg to keep the good vibes going in the lobby with a vinyl DJ set.

DJ HARLAN is a long time record collector and DJ currently based out of the Hudson Valley. He specializes in curating an all-analog collection of music pulled from a wide spectrum of genres. Expect deep cuts back to back with old favorites for an algorithm free listening experience.

Currently he’s a resident DJ at Red Maple Vineyard Brewery and shares a monthly night with music writer Will Hermes at Darlings. In addition to private events he has recurring gigs at storied HV spots such as the full scale roller rink SKATETIME, Tubbys, Avalon, Opus 40, Unicorn Bar, Urban Cowboy, Deer Mountain Inn, Love Velma, Field & Supply Market, O+ Festival, Red Owl Collective, Hutton Brickyards, Hunter Mountain Lodge, and co-produces roving the Side x Side record fair.

His sets strive to make unexpected connections between songs and artists. Everything from four to the floor disco to house music, shoegaze to dream pop, soul to jazz, world music, cumbia, high life, dub, Japanese AOR, MPB, funk, Turkish psych, exotica/lounge, etc. etc. forever!
