My Testimony: Fury & Grace is a deeply humanistic piece in the tradition of Spaulding Gray’s dramatic monologues.

“The Preacher” recounts true stories of church when he was a child and being locked in his room for days for refusing to eat a tomato, the ridiculous event that shaped his life.

The violent deaths of two people close to him send The Preacher into an adulthood defined by his simultaneous search for answers and escape from his own reality through addiction and the quest for a belief system to replace the Christianity of his youth.

When the wheels fall off his life, The Preacher faces the demons he has hidden away in his memory and finds his true self in a final reconciliation with the tomato that started it all.
