HOMER, ALASKA — Get ready for the ultimate kickoff to summer in Alaska! The first-ever Homer HarborFest & Boat Show is dropping anchor on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at the Homer Deep Water Dock and Spit — one of the most breathtaking waterfront venues in the state. Hosted by the Homer Chamber of Commerce, Sacred Acre, ARCHES Alaska, and The Kannery, and powered by strong community partnerships, this all-day event promises an unforgettable experience.

Set against the stunning backdrop of Kachemak Bay and the midnight sunset, HarborFest will transform the Homer Spit deep water dock into a glowing, coastal celebration of art, music, and maritime culture. Attendees can enjoy live music, a diverse boat show, culinary competitions, local vendors, and interactive art experiences — all with the salty sea air and sweeping views.

We're also spotlighting local fishermen and the heart of Homer’s culture: fresh, locally-caught seafood. From Raw and grilled oysters from Alaska Shellfish Farms, salmon tastings, to live chef demos, you'll get a taste of what makes our coastal town so special.

Whether you’re a lifelong Alaskan or visiting for the first time, HarborFest is your chance to celebrate the ocean, the art, and the people who make Homer one of Alaska’s most vibrant seaside communities.

Tickets are available now at HomerHarborFest.com and include full access to all music performances, vendor booths, marine displays, and live art showcases.

Event Highlights:

  • National Headliner Dirtwire will bring their signature blend of Americana, blues, electronic, and world music. Free Creatures is an alternative hip-hop, psych-rock, and electronic trio from Oregon. More musical performances include the Alaskan rising stars of Black Barrel & the Bad Men and Silas Luke Jones. Homer’s own Atz Kilcher will also perform with The Last Frontier Band. More musical performances will include The Copper River Band, & Kurmudgeon.
