Schedule of Events
7:45 a.m.: Waukee Boy Scouts Troop 178 "Waukee Freedom 5K" at Lutheran Church of Hope Waukee (entry fee; details to come closer to the date)
8-10:30 a.m.: Rotary Pancake Breakfast (free, but donations accepted; basketball court)
10:30 a.m.: Parade (free; route map here; do not sit on Pleasant View Drive and eastbound and westbound on University Avenue as these are emergency exit routes for our fire and police.)
Noon-10 p.m.: Food and Beverage Vendors
1-8 p.m.: Inflatables, Mechanical Bull and Wipeout Game (presale armband $10; onsite sales open at noon - cash only)
1 p.m.: Adult Bags Tournament, ($20 per team; pre-registration required; basketball court)
4-9:30 p.m.: Live Music from Cory Waller & The Wicked Things and Tyler Richton & The High Bank Boys (free)
8 p.m.: Des Moines Skydivers (free)
9:30 p.m.: Fireworks (free)
