FSPA Instructor, bandleader, composer, and pianist Roger Jones brings to FIM’s MacArthur Recital Hall a collection of the best jazz musicians from across Michigan for this annual evening celebrating excellence in jazz. This year’s program celebrates the music of two icons, renowned as bandleaders, composers and pianists themselves. Herbie Hancock & Chick Corea, modern masters and collaborators on two live albums in 1978, have composed standards, recorded dozens of albums, and won a combined total of 41 Grammy Awards.
