Italian-born pianist Rossano Sportiello began performing professionally in the Milan area at just 16 years old. His career took off when he won the 2009 Ascona (Switzerland) Jazz award in recognition of his mastery of stride piano. Today, he is an international star who has appeared on more than 40 albums.
