Kennesaw French Film Festival


The Department of World Languages and Cultures is proud to present an Albertine Cinémathèque French Film Festival on the Kennesaw campus of Kennesaw State

All screenings will have English sub-titles and will be free and open to the public.

Le Mepris (Contempt)

Jean-Luc Godard’s 1963 French New Wave meta-adaptation of Homer’s The Odyssey, this stirring drama spotlights the rocky marriage of Paul and Camille, played by Brigitte Bardot.

Disco Boy

Giacomo Abbruzzese’s visually and musically stunning directorial debut, this drama portrays the complex relationship between a French Foreign Legion soldier and a warrior in the Movement for the Emancipation of Niger Delta.
