It's the last day of the year! We're going to hike out to see the last sunset of the year from our favorite spot on the river. On the hike back we'll look for wildlife and enjoy the stars. Come join us!
- Hike starts at the Falls Parking Lot. Look for a Texas Parks and Wildlife truck and sign.
- Hike is about 2.5 miles long along rocky terrain with slippery surfaces.
- Wear comfortable clothes for the weather and hiking at night. Closed toed shoes required.
- Bring a flashlight or headlamp for the last half of the hike. Bring a red light to save your night vision for stargazing!
- Open to kids and dogs, as long as you know they can make a 2.5 mile hike over rough terrain.
- Normal entrance fees required to enter park, no additional fees or sign-up required to attend this event.
