The Lisle Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Ross Bishop Memorial Post #5696 presents the Lisle Memorial Day Parade . The parade will begin at 10AM at Lisle Junior High School and proceed north on Main Street, East on Burlington Avenue ending at the Lisle Veterans Memorial. There will be a short Remembrance Ceremony at the Lisle Veteran's Memorial and then a second Ceremony to follow at the Lisle Cemetery.
This event will honor those who have served and sacrificed for our freedom and is made possible by the support of VFW Ross Bishop Post #5696, Lisle Park District, Village of Lisle, Lisle Community Unit School District 202, Lisle Woodridge Fire Protection District, Lisle Library District, and Lisle Area Chamber of Commerce.
There will be no access to Main Street during the parade or ceremony. There will be extra handicap parking available at Lisle Village Hall.
As a reminder this is a solemn parade, a day of remembrance for those who have died in our nation's service. Please be advised that loud noises, candy throwing, and distribution of materials will not be permitted.
