Eleven finalists representing seven countries and four continents vie for the top prize of $25,000 on Saturday, 3 May 2025 in Eastman's Kilbourn Hall!

1-4:30pm - Each of the eleven Finalists presents a 15-minute program of four contrasting selections.

7:30pm - The 2025 Finalists return to Kilbourn Hall for a special concert of crowd-pleasers and show-stoppers.

9:00pm - Winners announced, including a new Audience Choice award for $3,000. See who takes home the top prize! More than $90,000 in total will be awarded.

A one-of-a-kind contest that requires demonstration of both acting and vocal skills, the Lenya Competition celebrates talented singing actors of all nationalities, ages 19-32, who can "do it all" across the dynamic landscape of lyric theater.
