A field day for landowners, land managers, and anyone with an interest in wildlife and habitat management will be held at the Mason Mountain Wildlife Management Area on Friday, April 25, from 10 am to 4:00 pm. Mason Mountain WMA is located at 4086 Wildlife Road, Mason, TX 76856. Topics will include the history of Mason Mountain WMA, Texas horned lizards, prairie dog and javelina restoration projects on the WMA, wildlife & land management tools on your phone, herbicides to control invasive species, prescribed burning, brush management, native grass restoration, quail, and more.
