Connie Han, jazz piano

Hailed by Variety Magazine as “one of contemporary jazz’s most talented and inventive musicians” and Downbeat Magazine as the “Jazz Warrior-Goddess,” virtuoso pianist Connie Han brings her charismatic and modern style to Maverick Family Saturdays for a curated program of original compositions influenced by 20th-century classical composers Igor Stravinsky and Samuel Barber and interpretations of standards by Wayne Shorter, Jerome Kern, and Richard Rodgers.

These short interactive events, long a Maverick tradition, are designed for enjoyment by children in grades K-6. Admission is free for children and adults.
