As a native of Woodstock (Cashdollar is an old local family name), CINDY CASHDOLLAR started seeing live music at age twelve and was greatly influenced by the variety of local artists that lived in the area in the late 60s, as well as the touring acts that would perform in the area.
Switching from guitar to Dobro, lap steel, and steel guitar, Cindy played locally and went on to have a successful career touring and recording with many notable artists, including Van Morrison, Ryan Adams, Bob Dylan (on his Grammy-winning “Time Out Of Mind” album), Joan Osborne, Rod Stewart, and the renowned Western swing band Asleep At The Wheel, with whom she won five Grammy Awards.
Cindy was the first woman to be inducted into the Texas Steel Guitar Hall of Fame and was honored by the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2023 in recognition of her contributions to both live and recorded music.
JOAN OSBORNE is an 8-time Grammy nominee and multi-platinum selling recording artist. A native of Kentucky, she moved to NYC to attend NYU Film School, but dropped out after becoming involved in New York’s downtown music scene.
Her 1995 album Relish was a critical and commercial success and spawned the international hit single and video “What If God Was One Of Us“. She directed the video for Relish’s second single St. Teresa and created the artwork for the album’s physical package. She has traveled the U.S. and the world for over twenty-five years performing in clubs, theaters, arenas and stadiums, with her own band and as a featured vocalist.
RACHAEL YAMAGATA is a singer-songwriter. She plays piano and acoustic guitar, and her dark, smokey alto garners frequent comparisons to Fiona Apple. Her first full-length album, Happenstance, was released on June 8, 2004.
Yamagata became the vocalist for the Chicago funk-fusion band Bumpus, spending six years with them while writing and recording three albums and touring the country. However, she began to write songs which took on a style that conflicted with the funk vision of the band. In 2001, Yamagata decided to take those songs and pursue a solo career. In September 2002, she landed a two-record deal with Arista’s Private Music label, and her EP was released in October.
