This ceremony honors the memory of those who have given their lives in service to our country and recognizes the patriotic service of members of our congregation and of the Jewish community at large. It includes the participation of a color guard, field music, special presentations and memorial prayers; as well as the decoration of the graves of Revolutionary War veterans from our congregation.
This year we will are honored by the participation of Rabbi Sanford Dresin (CH (COL) USA Ret) Vice President of Aleph Military; and by our longtime member James Rudolph; Together with a Color Guard from the Veteran Corps of Artillery, State of NY and the Sons of the Revolution of the State of NY; and, trumpeter Michael Miller of the USCG Aux. Band.
The ceremony begins at 10:30 am.
Veterans are encouraged to attend in uniform.
