Join us at Omaha's oldest burial ground for our annual Memorial Day Observance where we will give updates about the goings-on at the cemetery and special guest Eileen Wirth will present a history talk about Anna Wilson.

Admission is Free but donations are welcome. Your donations go towards the maintenance costs necessary for the upkeep of Omaha's oldest Cemetery.

Join us for:

Master of Ceremonies Shannon Justice, PHC Board Trustee and cemetery expert, will update the public with news and plans at Prospect Hill Cemetery & Arboretum

Retired journalism professor Eileen Wirth will present a history talk about Anna Wilson, often referred to as "The Queen of the Underworld", one of Prospect Hill Cemetery's most visited residents.

Delivery of the Invocation and Benediction

The Prospect Hill Preservation Brass Band, directed by Dave Krecek, will play traditional marches and patriotic music

The First Nebraska Volunteer Infantry, a Civil War reenactment group, will present the Colors and fire a three-volley salute

Boy Scouts will raise the flag and lead the Pledge of Allegiance

Jim Fogarty will present the annual tribute to Omaha philanthropist and businesswoman Anna Wilson at her gravesite
