Each year on Memorial Day, the St. Louis V.F.W. Post #3055 sponsors a parade through town. The parade includes school bands and a variety of other entrants. There is a tribute to sailors lost at sea, a twenty-one gun salute and a Veterans service at the Veterans Hill section of Oak Grove Cemetery.

Line up begins at the St. Louis High School at 9:30 a.m. with parade start at 10:00 a.m. Ceremonies occur on the Mill Street Bridge and at the Oak Grove Cemetery.

The parade is Monday at 10:00 a.m., with line-up beginning at 9:30 a.m. at the St. Louis High School (113 East Saginaw Street). Ceremonies will be performed on the Mill Street Bridge and at the Oak Grove Cemetery.

A community lunch at St. Louis VFW Post #3055 (1295 West Monroe Road, i.e. M-46) will immediately follow the parade.
