2025 City Ellsworth Memorial Day Parade
The City of Ellsworth Recreation Commission and Ellsworth VFW Post #109 is pleased to announce the City of Ellsworth Memorial Day Parade will be returning. The parade is scheduled for Monday, May 26 and will kick-off at 10 a.m. The parade provides the opportunity to bring the community together to honor past & present Veterans and those who have sacrificed their freedom and are no longer with us.
Line-up for the parade will begin at 9 a.m. at The Moore Community Center on State Street. The parade will travel down State Street to School Street, across School Street, turning onto Main Street, traveling to the lower light, stopping at the bridge for a brief ceremony and then back up State Street to the Middle Moore Community Center.
There will be a ceremony on the City Hall lawn immediately following the parade.
Parade Organizers encourage all community/civic groups, churches, businesses, schools and any entertainment to register to be part of the parade. Politically affiliated floats/groups/organizations are prohibited.
