The City of Broadview Heights Memorial Day Parade & Ceremony

The City of Broadview Heights is holding its Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony honoring the men and women who died while serving in the U.S. military on Monday, May 26, 2025.  The parade departs from The Church of the Assumption parking lot at 9:00 AM on Broadview Road, just north of Route 82.  Spectators are invited to join the parade’s end and follow it to the Community Amphitheater, where there will be a memorial ceremony, veteran tribute, and complimentary refreshments.

Please note that Broadview Road from Route 82 to Valley Parkway will be temporarily closed from 8:45 AM -9:45 AM on Memorial Day; please choose an alternate route.

Parade Route:

The parade will start at 9:00AM from the Church of the Assumption parking lot and go to the Community Amphitheater via Broadview Road to the ceremony, starting shortly after, at approximately 9:40 am.  The best place to view the parade is alongside Broadview Road and Don Faulhaber Memorial Drive (the main entrance).  Parking will be available in the West Parking and grass areas next to the amphitheater.

The parade acts as the gathering ceremony for our memorial service, honoring our fallen soldiers. To ensure a meaningful remembrance, we encourage everyone to participate in the parade – including scouts, public officials, clubs, marching bands, sports teams, unique vehicles, and businesses – with a special emphasis on Veterans and military families.

- The parade will assemble at 8:30 AM in the parking lot of Assumption Academy on West Royalton Road, stepping off at 9:00 AM.

- Parade spectators are invited to join at the end of the procession and follow it to the Amphitheater at the Broadview Community Center for a brief ceremony and refreshments. There will be reserved seating for Veterans in attendance.

- While this is not a promotional event, businesses can partake as long as their vehicle is decorated in a patriotic theme.

- We also invite children and their families to decorate their bikes and join the parade.
