Memorial Day Pilgrimage Festival Choir


Celebrating the 100th anniversary of the repose of St. Tikhon of Moscow

St. Tikhon’s Monastery warmly invites you to come sing with our Festival Choir for the 121st annual Memorial Day Pilgrimage. This year’s pilgrimage commemorates the 100th anniversary of the repose of our founder, St. Tikhon of Moscow.

This year Memorial Day Liturgy will feature 2 choirs & antiphonal singing! Festival singers will be assigned into two choirs, and enjoy rehearsals conducted by both St. Tikhon’s choral director Anastasia Kappanadze and Archdiocesan choral director Juliana Woodill, culminating in the celebration of the Memorial Day Hierarchical Liturgy on Monday, May 26th.

Schedule:

7:30 a.m: Hours and Liturgy, Monastery Church (kliros)
8:30 a.m - 9:45 a.m: Warm-up/Brush-up, Music Center (Festival Choir)
10:00 a.m - 12:30 p.m: Divine Liturgy, Outside of All Saints Chapel (Festival Choir)
11:30 a.m: Food available from food vendors in bookstore parking lot
2:30 p.m: Healing service at All Saints Church
4:30 p.m: Vespers and Matins and Pilgrimage Closing, Monastery Church
