On Saturday, January 18, a local Lady Lake handmade artist will have the chance to sell their products at Michaels!    

Marie Cloesmeyer is the creative mind behind her specialty book business, Book Art by Marie. Known for her intricate and personalized designs, Marie transforms books into unique works of art, folding pages to display names, phrases, or even images. Her one-of-a-kind creations make meaningful gifts and striking decor for mantles or shelves. With her welcoming store, Marie invites customers to explore her craft and discover the perfect custom piece. 

This weekend, she will have the chance to debut her products in stores as a part of the creative retailer’s in-store MakerPlace pop-up program, which allows Michaels shoppers to engage with local handmade artists and shop their items in person.  She’ll be selling books designed with names, phrases and pictures – all at her typical craft show pricing.
