Nani Vazana is one of the few artists in the world who write and compose new songs in the endangered Ladino language (Judeo-Español). On her new album "Ke Haber" (What's New) she captures the spirit of the ancient, matriarchal language and culture and propels it into the 21st century with socially relevant lyrics, celebrating migration, gender and female empowerment. Born in Be'er Sheva, Israel, and now based in Amsterdam, Nani's vocal, piano, and trombone tunes are not to be missed. The program will feature a combination of her original and some traditional Ladino songs, plus the jazz of Nina Simone, Ella Fitzgerald, Barbra Streisand, some Amy Winehouse, and a Sting tune. In addition to her concert, Nani will offer her popular Choir Hour Workshop to those who wish to join. Secure your seats today to enjoy this unique musical opportunity to hear an international artist in the comfort of an intimate listening room setting.
