Join us for the May installment of our Open Mic series in the MCA lobby and art gallery! This is our last event of the season until the fall - so make sure to come hang out! The May theme is Travelers — we invite you to think about all of the journeys this life offers, road trips and voyages that inspired you, transformed you and maybe even dramatically affected the person who you are today.

The show will be hosted by a charming creative, a poetic traveler of our artistic tribe and a tremendous performer Cyan Sueno. We are also very happy to announce that this month’s feature is our long-time participant and contributor, David Brancazio (aka Dr. Melodica), who is doing a special improvisational performance with guests from Japan, composer Makoto Nomura and percussionist Takeo Niikura. Takeo, who has Down Syndrome, may not share our spoken language, but he speaks and connects through music - and we look forward to the unique journey that this trio of music travelers has to offer.
