While we can’t predict the date of death, we can certainly prepare for the funeral you envision. Tim Davis, a licensed Funeral Director at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home, will address important questions to consider. Topics will include burial options, locations, religious customs, the idea of a “Living Wake,” and how to write your obituary, along with other aspects you may not have thought about yet.

Instructor: Tim Davis

Tim started his career in funeral service back in 2000 when he went to work at Baxter Memorial Gardens in Mountain Home. He went on to serve his two year apprenticeship and attended Arkansas State University in Mountain Home, where he graduated Summa *** Laude with an Associate Degree in Mortuary Science. He is a licensed funeral director and embalmer in Arkansas since 2006 and a licensed funeral director in Oklahoma since 2008. He is also a Certified Funeral Service Professional from the Academy of Funeral Service Professionals since 2019. Tim also has been a Certified Crematory Operator in Arkansas since 2022. Since 2006, Tim has lived in Northwest Arkansas, and served families in Benton County, Washington County, as well as Delaware and Adair County in Oklahoma.
