The inaugural Rock Solid 5K and 1-Miler will take place at Bluebird Park in Isanti, MN for the benefit of The Rock Solid Foundation (TRSF, or The Foundation). TRSF is a nonprofit charitable organization that was founded in late 2024 to honor the life and legacy of Jesse Melvin Haugen, who passed away in a tragic canoeing accident on May 18, 2024. Jesse was rock solid in his passion for and dedication to the many roles he played - a family man, outdoorsman, veteran, entrepreneur and servant. Funds raised in connection with the 5K and 1-Miler will go toward TRSF’s mission, which is to provide resources and support to those in their darkest hour. We offer individuals, families and organizations facing tragic loss a place to turn and find help to rebuild, a light in the darkness. 

The 5K and 1-Miler will both be on the same out and back course, starting at the corner of Isanti Parkway and 3rd Avenue in Bluebird Park. We'll have other family friendly activities, a bean bag tournament, delicious local food and beer available for purchase.
