Shakespeare! Zombies! An original 80s music inspired score! You’re invited to the world premiere of a new musical from a team of Broadway vets in the vein of LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS being presented in a concert format - ROMERO & JULIET. The show takes place in Verona, Pennsylvania on Friday the 13th in September of 1985, not far from where George Romero’s classic zombie movie “Night of the Living Dead” was filmed.

The concert will star Shea Curran and Veronique Chayer as the star-crossed lovers.

Allison Guinn from season three of the Emmy Award winning “Only Murders in the Building” will be guest-starring as Juliet’s Nurse. She also appeared in ON THE TOWN, HAIR, and TAMMY FAYE on Broadway, as well as being seen in a recurring role on the Emmy Award winning Best Comedy, “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.” The cast is rounded out by Broadway vets and phenomenal talents from Southwestern PA.

ROMERO & JULIET is written by composer Aaron Gandy and Laurel Highlands native, Scott Logsdon, who was an originating cast member in the original tour of LES MISERABLES, a show he also appeared in on Broadway and internationally. Their musical THE CRINOLYNNS premiered in Latrobe with Broadway stars in the fall of 2023.

Tickets cost $20 and $10 for students.

The show is rated PG-13 for mild language, implied intimacy, and implied violence.
