Chamber Orchestra Kremlin:
Moscow-born Misha Rachlevsky began studying the violin at the age of 6 and followed the well-traveled path of Russian string training: music school – College of the Moscow Conservatory – the Gnessin Music Academy. His love, if not obsession, with chamber orchestras began in his early teens, when he heard the Moscow Chamber Orchestra and became its passionate fan. A life-changing event happened when, at 19, while still a student, he auditioned for that orchestra’s younger counterpart, also the Moscow Chamber Orchestra, but under Lev Markiz. Winning that audition and the subsequent years determined the direction of his lifelong musical journey.
