You really like the freedom of Free Motion Quilting, but you have a very special quilt and you need it to look a little more perfect. Does the math of specialty geometric shapes frustrate you, but you love the look of it? There must be a secret, right? The good news is, yes - there is a secret, no math method!
In this beginner/intermediate class, you will learn wonderful ruler designs to use on your quilt. Starting simple, you will learn how to use rulers to stitch in the ditch and get straight lines, how to make beautiful cathedral window shapes, and the wonderful swirling design to use on blocks and borders.
By quilting quilt “sandwiches” instead of a quilt, you will have a wonderful resource tool to always be able to go back to and the handouts will be there to remind you how you stitched it out in class. This is a stress-free, fun-filled, “WOW! I CAN do it!” class.
You must have working knowledge of your machines - how to lower the feed dogs, how to adjust the tension, and how to change the needle and foot. It is recommended that the ruler foot be attached before class. Extension table is REQUIRED!
Rulers are required ($64.87, includes tax) for this class and can be purchased before the class by contacting Donna at Keep Sewing [email protected] or 989-573-0057 or at the time of class.
