The City of Kennesaw's Independence Day celebration of freedom, music and fireworks is one of the biggest and best in North Georgia! Salute to America will feature One stage of live music, festive street entertainment, food vendors and plenty of family-friendly activities.

Guardians of the Jukebox - 8 PM

The Guardians of the Jukebox are more than a tribute band—they're a full-blown time machine to the unforgettable sights and sounds of the 1980s. This high-energy, nostalgia-fueled juggernaut was founded by Rich Ward (Fozzy, Stuck Mojo) and is made up of elite touring and recording artists who have rocked stages from Sydney to Seattle, Milan to Moscow.

Their live performances are legendary—pairing smash hits from the MTV era with a dazzling video backdrop of retro music videos, movie clips, and commercials. Fans can expect a hit-packed setlist featuring the likes of Bon Jovi, Toto, Depeche Mode, Lionel Richie, Foreigner, Hall & Oates, and more. Described as a “visual and sonic highlight reel” of one of music’s most iconic decades, The Guardians of the Jukebox offer a concert experience that’s both a tribute and a celebration of the vibrant, over-the-top magic of the '80s.

Girls Night Out - 7 PM

Girls Night Out is Atlanta’s premier tribute to the powerhouse women of music, delivering high-octane performances that celebrate the voices and anthems that have defined generations. Featuring a dynamic mix of seasoned musicians and fresh new talent, the band is fronted by a standout young female vocalist whose stage presence is nothing short of magnetic.

Their setlist spans the decades, covering iconic hits from Heart, Adele, Stevie Nicks, Lady Gaga, Carrie Underwood, Pat Benatar, Rihanna, Paramore, Whitney Houston, and today’s rising stars like Chappell Roan and Sabrina Carpenter. From rock and pop to soul and punk, Girls Night Out brings it all with passion, power, and style. Their live shows are a full-out celebration—inviting audiences to sing, dance, and relive their favorite songs with every beat.

Tripp'n - 6 PM

Tripp’n is a powerhouse teen rock cover band out of Atlanta, composed of three exceptionally talented musicians between the ages of 16 and 18. This trio is making waves on the local music scene with electrifying performances that blend southern rock, classic rock, alternative and metal. Their shows are a high-energy experience, fueled by tight musicianship and a deep passion for their craft.

With over 27 years of combined musical experience, each member of Tripp’n is a skilled multi-instrumentalist, delivering a sound and stage presence well beyond their years. Offstage, they’re standout students and active members of the community, volunteering their time to inspire the next generation of musicians and support charitable causes throughout metro Atlanta. Whether rocking a local venue or bringing life to a community event, Tripp’n leaves it all on stage. This is a band on the rise and one to watch.

Street Closings

The following roads will be closed from 1:00 PM – 12:00 Midnight on Wednesday, July 3:
Main Street closed from Lewis St. to Summers Street
Cherokee Street from Big Shanty Drive to Main Street
J.O. Stephenson Ave. from Main Street to Dallas Street
Watts Dr. from Main Street to Dallas Street
The parking lots at Tunnel Plaza and BurgerFi will be closed 1:00 PM – 12:00 Midnight on Wednesday, July 3
Shirley Drive will be closed from Cherokee Street to Carruth Street from 5:00 PM - 10:30 PM for fireworks
Depot Park parking lot will be closed Wednesday, July 3
City Hall parking lot will close at 5:00 PM Wednesday, July 3

Parking

Public parking will NOT be available at Depot Park for this event. Free public parking will be available at the following locations:

Adams Park & the Ben Robertson Community Center, Adams Park, 2600 Park Drive
Along Lewis Street, between North Main Street & Dallas Street
Handicap ONLY parking is available in the lot at the intersection of North Main Street & Moon Station Road. Limited handicap parking will be available at Depot Park.
The City of Kennesaw mobile app features a parking map for the downtown area. Using the map, app users can see what specific parking lots are open and follow directions to all downtown public parking lots using the phones’ map system.
