America’s 250th birthday—the Semiquincentennial—is just around the corner, and Pottsgrove Manor is ready to kick off the celebration! Join us on SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 15TH, for a revolutionary-era militia muster and special preview of Montgomery County’s 2026 calendar of events. The festivities begin at 11:00 AM with a fascinating presentation on Colonel Thomas Potts’s Associator Battalion, offering insight into Pottstown’s Revolutionary War connections. Then, step outside as history comes to life! Dressed in the uniform of the Philadelphia County Associators, reenactors will demonstrate military drill, daily camp life, and supporting the troops. Don’t miss the chance to see a Revolutionary War-era cannon, cast at Warwick Furnace—once buried, but now unearthed and on display at Pottsgrove Manor for this special event! Explore what other Montgomery County historic sites have planned for the Semiquincentennial, and enjoy a self-guided tour of Pottsgrove Manor’s first floor.  Let’s celebrate the road to 250—together!

*Suggested donation of $2 per person. Outside activities will be scaled down in the event of inclement weather.
