Six Renowned Authors to Headline 35th Annual Book and Author Event

Six award-winning and New York Times authors will speak at the Book and Author 2025 event, sponsored by Brandeis National Committee (BNC) Phoenix Chapter. In its 35th year, the event is on Monday, February 24, 2025, from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm at the Westin Kierland Resort in Scottsdale.

This year's stellar lineup includes New York Times best-sellers, literary award winners, and a finalist for the Sperber Prize for journalism biography. Some of the authors are already in talks to adapt their books for movies and television projects. The authors and newly released books are:

- Andre Aciman – Roman Year: A Memoir

- Paulina Bren – SHE-Wolves: The Untold History of Women on Wall Street

- Fiona Davis – The Stolen Queen

- Stephanie Gorton – The Icon and the Idealist: Margaret Sanger, Mary Ware Dennett, and the Rivalry that Brought Birth Control to America

- Shelley Noble -The Colony Club

- Scott Turow - Presumed Guilty 

The event includes a luncheon with author presentations, book sales and signings, and shopping before and after the luncheon from an array of unique vendors and artisans.  

Amy Silverman, Executive Producer of The Show on Arizona NPR returns to moderate the forum. Amy is a journalist, author and teacher from Phoenix, and is a 3-time winner of the Arizona Press Club's Journalist of the Year award.

Brandeis National Committee (BNC) provides financial support to Brandeis University and its libraries. Since 1950, the Phoenix Chapter has offered its members a wide array of programs, activities and events throughout the year, and provides community service volunteer opportunities in the Greater Phoenix area. Proceeds from the Book and Author event benefit BNC's Engineering the Future Campaign.
