Schedule Of Events:

8 to 8:30 am - Family Fun Ride
The 34th Annual Memorial Day Family Run Ride is your chance to ride on the famous Tour of Somerville bicycle race course!

All participants must wear helmets and be able to ride unassisted. Race officials will escort riders without helmets off the course. Children in bicycle trailers are allowed.

Check-in time: 7:30 am
Location: Starbucks (Davenport Street and Main Street)

Entry fee: $5 per household. Exact change required. Financial assistance is available.

8:15 am - Memorial Day Parade
The Memorial Day Parade will start at 8:15 am at the corner of Culver Street and East High Street, make its way to the Fire Museum on N. Doughty Avenue, and down West Main Street to S. Bridge Street.

Parade route:
The parade starts at 8:15 am sharp and will take about 1 hour to reach the cemetery.

Start at Culver Street and East High Street (World War I monument)
Travel westbound from High Street to N. Doughty Avenue
Make a brief stop at the Fire Museum
Stop at West Main Street to place a wreath at the memorial
Travel eastbound down W. Main Street to S. Bridge Street
Families participating in the Family Fun Ride are welcome to join the parade (back)
S. Bridge Street to the Somerville New Cemetery (192 S. Bridge St)

10 am - Memorial Day Ceremony

Please join us for a ceremony, at 10 am, at the Somerville New Cemetery (Veterans Circle).
