Soothe and Restore: A Fusion of Yin Yoga and Acupuncture

Yin yoga and acupuncture are two practices that can work synergistically together to promote overall health and well-being. Both have the ability to move stagnant energy in the body, promoting harmony between yin and yang energies and balancing the “Qi,” or life-force, within the body. Bringing yin yoga and acupuncture together can enhance both practices, giving a more profound result – leaving you feeling rejuvenated and well-rested! Join us for a practice of Yin Yoga led by TYS teacher Jackie Block, followed by a gentle yet stimulating acupuncture treatment offered by Acupuncturist Antonio Barros, of Soulshine Acupuncture. We will begin by moving our bodies through a nourishing Yin Yoga practice, allowing for the gentle preparation of the body to receive the acupuncture. You’ll be guided into a restful position to allow the placement of the needles into the upper and lower extremities, and there will be a guided meditation while the needles stay in place. Open to all levels, no experience necessary.
